Disney has renewed The Clone Wars cartoon series, which originally aired on Cartoon Network and Netflix, with TWELVE NEW EPISODES!!!
Now, you’ll have to get the new Disney streaming service to access these, so whether you’ve cut the cord or not, here’s yet another streaming service that wants your money. That’s frustrating. I haven’t seen Star Trek Discovery because I’m a bitter old man who refuses to buy a whole new streaming service for JUST one show. I’ll gladly miss out on a show that everyone loves and that I really want to see, just to spite The Man.
The Disney streaming service though … sigh. There’s supposed to be a lot of new Star Wars content on there in the coming years, and I do have two kids would likely love us to have that. And let’s face it, I’m a Star Wars fanatic … this is the best Star Wars content ever produced (The Clone Wars animated TV series). I’m gonna get this. I honestly can’t wait.
I think no character arc in the entire pantheon of Star Wars characters is more heroic than Fives’s. No Star Wars content has ever moved me to literal tears … but Ahsoka’s parting with the Order gets me every time and, as noted above, I’m a bitter old man, so that’s saying something.
This is the best news in Star Wars in years. Thank you Disney!
